About Geonexus:

Geonexus helps organizations keep GIS and enterprise systems aligned so they can operate from the same trusted information. Our integration platforms connect Esri ArcGIS with the enterprise systems that support utility, public sector, transportation, and asset intensive operations.

We are growing our Platform Enablement and Support team and are looking for a GIS Integration Lead who can guide customers through successful implementation of Geonexus solutions.

The Role:

The GIS Integration Lead is responsible for facilitating customer workshops and guiding customers through the end to end implementation process for Geonexus platforms.

In this role, you will guide customers from kickoff through discovery, configuration, testing, training, go live, and post launch stabilization. You will facilitate customer workshops, ask practical questions, document requirements and decisions, configure Geonexus software, coordinate implementation activities, and help ensure customers are prepared to successfully operate the platform.

This is a technical, hands on, customer facing role. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working with GIS, enterprise systems, utility data, and customers. You do not need to be the deepest architect in every room, but you do need to be comfortable leading the implementation process, understanding customer requirements, identifying risks, and knowing when to bring in deeper technical expertise.

Because we are a small team, this role also requires flexibility. You may help with support coordination, documentation, partner enablement, troubleshooting, customer conversations, and process improvement when needed.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead customer implementation projects from kickoff through go live and post launch support.
  • Facilitate customer workshops to understand business needs, technical requirements, data flows, system environments, testing expectations, and go live criteria.
  • Guide customers through implementation decisions, project next steps, risks, dependencies, and action items.
  • Configure Geonexus software based on approved customer requirements and implementation direction.
  • Support integrations between Esri ArcGIS and enterprise systems such as Maximo, SAP, Oracle Utilities, HxGN, CIS, OMS, ADMS, and related operational systems.
  • Work with customer GIS, IT, and business teams to validate data mappings, synchronization rules, permissions, environment readiness, and testing plans.
  • Support customer testing, issue resolution, administrator training, user training, go live, and adoption activities.
  • Coordinate work across customers, internal team members, partners, Product Management, Engineering, and Support.
  • Provide guidance to Platform Enablement Specialists assigned to implementation work.
  • Document requirements, decisions, configuration details, issue logs, meeting notes, risks, and lessons learned.
  • Identify recurring issues or implementation patterns that can improve our playbooks, documentation, training, and customer experience.
What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate has experience implementing enterprise software, working with GIS, and guiding customers through technical projects. You should be comfortable facilitating meetings, asking practical questions, documenting decisions, configuring software, and helping customers move from requirements to successful adoption.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of experience in enterprise software implementation, GIS, system integration, technical enablement, technical support, or a related customer facing technology role.
  • Experience facilitating customer workshops, discovery sessions, implementation meetings, or technical workstreams.
  • Experience helping customers move through a full implementation lifecycle, including discovery, configuration, testing, training, and go live.
  • Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, geodatabases, feature services, web services, or related GIS concepts.
  • Understanding of system integration concepts such as data mapping, synchronization logic, relational databases, APIs, authentication, permissions, and environment connectivity.
  • Practical SQL experience, including the ability to write and troubleshoot queries.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common configuration, connectivity, permission, authentication, data, and performance issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer engagements at the same time.
  • Ability to document requirements, decisions, issues, resolutions, and implementation status clearly.
  • Customer focused mindset with strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with utility, public sector, transportation, or asset intensive organizations.
  • Experience with Esri Utility Network, ArcGIS Utility Network workflows, ArcFM, or other utility GIS models.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as IBM Maximo, SAP, Oracle Utilities, HxGN, CIS, OMS, ADMS, or related operational platforms.
  • Experience implementing or supporting integration platforms, middleware, iPaaS, ESB, workflow automation, or event driven integration tools.
  • Experience with Zoho, Jira, Microsoft 365, or similar business systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret XML, JSON, logs, configuration files, and system outputs.
What Success Looks Like:
  • Customers are guided through a clear and organized implementation process.
  • Workshops produce clear requirements, decisions, risks, action items, and next steps.
  • Geonexus software is configured accurately based on customer needs and approved implementation direction.
  • Testing, training, go live, and post launch activities are well coordinated.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base salary: $95,000 to $120,000, based on experience
  • Annual bonus tied to team and company performance
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with 3 percent company contribution
  • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
  • Remote friendly, with occasional travel, typically under 25 percent, for customer go lives, workshops, and industry events
